Lexus Australia extends Encore ownership program to five years

Autotalk · 0 comments

Lexus Australia has expanded its Encore ownership benefits program, extending complimentary access from three to five years and consolidating its capped-price service program, vehicle warranties, and Lexus Connected Services subscriptions under the Encore banner.

The restructured program retains three tiers — Lexus Encore Signature, Lexus Encore Platinum, and Lexus Encore Elevate — with the perks offered under each tier remaining largely unchanged.

Encore Signature

Buyers of the LBX, UX, NX, RX, GX, ES and RZ receive a five-year complimentary subscription to Lexus Encore Signature. The package includes a loan car and complimentary wash and vacuum during servicing, Lexus DriveCare 24-hour roadside assistance, and VIP treatment at select luxury hotels across Australia and New Zealand, including welcome amenities, complimentary transfers, and benefits such as late checkout.

Encore Signature also covers access to exclusive dining and events, airport lounge access on a pay-per-use basis at more than 800 lounges worldwide, and five cents off per litre of premium fuel at participating Ampol service stations.

The tier further includes five years of complimentary access to the Lexus Connected+ suite of connected services. This allows owners to use the Lexus Connected smartphone app to remotely control lights, locks, climate control, and windows, as well as track a stolen vehicle. This is separate to the standard Lexus Connected services, which remain free for the life of the vehicle — or until the sunset of the 4G or 5G network — and cover functions such as SOS emergency calling and automatic collision notification.

Encore Platinum

Buyers of the LC, LS, LX and LM receive five years of complimentary access to Lexus Encore Platinum. This tier includes all Encore Signature benefits, plus eight hands-free valet parking passes at select Australian shopping centres, four complimentary passes to more than 800 airport lounges worldwide, and Priority Access, which Lexus describes as covering exclusive dining and cultural events.

Encore Platinum also includes Lexus On Demand, which allows owners to borrow another Lexus model up to four times over the five-year period, for up to eight days at a time.

Encore Elevate

For owners without an active Lexus Encore subscription — regardless of model or vehicle age — a paid one-year subscription to Encore Elevate is available for $1,899. The tier mirrors Encore Platinum in most respects, though with two Lexus On Demand passes for up to five days at a time, four valet parking passes, and two airport lounge passes.

In a statement, Lexus Australia chief executive Jack Hobbs said the program evolution was aimed at deepening the ownership experience. “With the evolution of Encore, we’re continuing to redefine what luxury ownership can feel like, creating a more connected, more thoughtful and more human-centred experience,” Hobbs said.

“It’s about designing ownership around the lifestyles of our customers, so every interaction feels effortless, and every moment with Lexus feels exceptional.”

Lexus says the Encore program is grounded in the concept of omotenashi — the anticipation of a customer’s needs before they arise.

The expanded program places Lexus among a number of luxury automotive brands offering ownership incentive schemes in Australia. Genesis, for example, provides five years of complimentary scheduled servicing, and offers a vehicle collection and loan car service for owners living within 50 kilometres of a dealership.
