Jaecoo signs on with NBL’s Sydney Kings
Jaecoo Australia will feature on the back of the Sydney Kings jersey for the 2026/27 NBL season.
Jaecoo Australia has signed on as a partner of NBL club the Sydney Kings for the 2026/27 season, with its branding on the back of the Kings’ playing jersey.
Jaecoo also becomes the club’s official membership partner, and will run fan activations during the season, ranging from ticket giveaways to VIP experiences.
Omoda Jaecoo Australia chief commercial officer Roy Munoz says the club shares the brand’s ambition and competitive spirit.
“Basketball has an incredible ability to bring people together, inspire communities and create lasting memories. The Sydney Kings have built a passionate following, and we’re looking forward to being part of that journey, supporting the club and creating some exciting experiences for fans along the way,” Munoz says.
“From our hugely popular J5 EV to our feature-packed J8 seven-seat Super Hybrid, more and more Australians are falling in love with the brand every single day. This partnership provides another fantastic platform to introduce more people to our brand and the products we’re bringing to market.”

Mark Thompson, chief executive of Kings owner Hoops Capital, says the partnership marks an exciting move for the club.
“As the reigning champions of the NBL, the Sydney Kings are pushing the boundary on Australian basketball from a performance, fan and engagement perspective. Joining forces with a partner that shares our drive and ambition is crucial as we continue to build momentum as a code and as a club,” Thompson says.
The Kings are one of the NBL’s foundation clubs and have won six championships, most recently in 2026.
Omoda Jaecoo recorded 2,330 sales in October, up from 565 a year earlier, according to VFACTS. The Jaecoo J5 accounted for 1,714 of those.
