One of the first 2022 Tesla Model Ys is up for auction in Australia with prices likely to exceed retail, such is the demand for EVs. That’s according to Lloyds Auctioneers and Valuers which intends auctioning the Model Y on Monday October 3 from 7pm.
Five-star safety ratings for the Tesla Model Y, Kia Niro and Genesis GV60 have been announced by the Australasian New Car Assessment Program (ANCAP).
Orders have opened for the Tesla Model Y SUV in Australia, with deliveries expected from August for the basic Rear-Wheel Drive variant costing from $68,900. The higher spec Performance is due from about November for $98,599.
