Stellantis signs graphite deal with Brisbane-based Novonix

Up to 115,000 tonnes of synthetic graphite material from 2026-2031 will be supplied to Stellantis’ cell manufacturing partners in North America under an agreement with Brisbane-headquartered battery materials and technology company Novonix.

Battery deals planned

Global battery manufacturer LG Energy Solution (LGES) and battery materials and technology company Novonix have signed an agreement for the joint research and development of artificial graphite anode material for lithium-ion batteries, particularly for EVs.
