Utes dominate as new car market holds strong
New vehicle sales across Australia totalled 122,509 units in June 2025, marking a 2.4% increase over the same month in 2024. According to the Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries (FCAI), this brings the year-to-date total to 608,811 new vehicles, demonstrating the strength and resilience of the automotive sector in spite of ongoing economic pressures.
