US restrictions could boost EV sales in Australia
BYD is expected to expand its offerings and dealerships in Australia as US president-elect Donald Trump aims to block Chinese brands selling cars to Americans. US president Joe Biden has quadrupled tariffs on Chinese-made EVs to 100% while Trump indicates he could increase these to 200%.
