Wiggles car sells

The Wiggles’ ‘Big Red Car’ has sold for $44,600 on an online auction.

The iconic Volkswagen Beetle Cabriolet sold last week on EBay. It offered low kilometres, leather-appointed upholstery and 16-inch alloy wheels.

All the money raised will be donated to SIDS and Kids charities.

The famous car was billed on eBay as “a rare collector’s item” that had only had “four careful drivers” and an engine that revved with “considerable toot toot chugga chugga”.
