Organisations are again being invited to register their interest in trialling electric vehicles within their car fleets, as part of the Victorian government’s electric vehicle trial.
More than 35 organisations have participated to date.
The Victorian Department of Transport is particularly interested to hear from companies that have interesting ideas on how they can promote EVs to their staff and the community, and how they might use an EV to provide an alternative model to traditional car ownership.
A key component of the trial is providing Victorian organisations with the opportunity to trial an electric vehicle within their car fleets, including as part of car-sharing schemes and other ‘mobility solutions’ designed to provide alternatives to traditional car ownership.
Participating organisations receive a range of benefits including:
– detailed information and data, to inform future business planning
– links to other fleet operators of EVs, and EV market participants
– a low cost and low risk way to trial the latest EV technology
– opportunities to promote their use of EVs via branded vehicles at high profile locations and events.
Applications close 5pm, Friday May 31, and can be found HERE
