Component supply constraints in manufacturing has seen changes made to the specification of several MY22.5 Mitsubishi Outlander models and two models are subject to increased recommended retail prices.
Mitsubishi Motors Australia Limited (MMAL) says the specification changes have been made to optimise production and minimise supply delays to waiting customers.
It says that the power window one-touch up/down operation now applies to driver’s window only in the entry-level Outlander ES model.
A manual tailgate now replaces the supply-constrained power tailgate in the Outlander LS model.
A seven-inch Multi-information display replaces the supply-constrained fully-digital driver display in the Outlander Aspire model.
Increased material, manufacturing and logistical costs have resulted in a $500 price increase for the MY22.5 Outlander Exceed, and a $1000 price increase for the Exceed Tourer according to MMAL.
These models are now priced from $48,490 RRP (Exceed) and $50,990 RRP (Exceed Tourer). However their specifications remain unchanged says the manufacturer.
The MY22.5 Outlander range retains the 2022 five-star ANCAP safety rating. First arrivals are expected in Australian showrooms from April, 2022.
