Nissan Motor Corporation has internally promoted Emily Fadeyev to the position of general manager corporate communications for Nissan Oceania.

Fadayev will be responsible for corporate communications across Australia and New Zealand. She will work closely with Nissan’s global and regional communications teams.

Nissan Australia appointed Fadeyev as its senior manager of corporate communications in April 2021, following her previous ten year tenure at Renault Australia across corporate communications, sponsorships, human resources and corporate planning.

At the time of her appointment former Nissan Australia managing director Stephen Lester said Fadayev was well-known and respected amongst Australian media, and her understanding of the industry and media requirements was invaluable as the brand approached a period of significant new model introductions.

“I want to extend a huge thank you to Adam Paterson and Katherine Zachary for trusting me to lead the Corporate Communications department,” Fadyev says.

“It is a remarkable time to be working at Nissan Motor Corporation. As we work towards our vision of future mobility, I’m thrilled to be part of this next chapter in the company’s proud 90-year history,” she says.
