The electric SUV measures 4595mm in length and 1850mm in width, with a 2775mm wheelbase. DC fast charging capability reaches 130kW, allowing a 10 to 80 per cent charge in 35 minutes, while AC charging supports up to 22kW.

The entry-level Engage ($55,840) features the smaller 63kWh battery, 160kW motor, and 19-inch alloy wheels. Standard equipment includes a 12.3-inch touchscreen, wireless phone charging, and Nissan’s ProPILOT driver assistance system.

The Advance ($59,840) adds heated seats, a Bose 10-speaker sound system, and power-adjustable front seats while retaining the 63kWh battery.

The Advance+ ($63,840) upgrades to the larger 87kWh battery pack, increasing power to 178kW and range to 504km. Additional features include a panoramic glass roof, head-up display, and ventilated front seats.

The range-topping Evolve e-4ORCE ($71,840) introduces all-wheel drive via dual motors, 20-inch wheels, and premium blue Nappa leather trim.

All Ariya variants are covered by Nissan’s 10-year, 300,000km warranty when serviced by Nissan dealers, plus an eight-year, 160,000km battery capacity warranty.

The Ariya follows the Leaf which achieved more than one million sales globally since its launch as the world’s first mass-market electric vehicle.
