New virtual training platform

I-CAR Australia has introduced a new delivery method for its popular ‘live training’ classes. The I-CAR ‘virtual classroom’ is to be a convenient online training solution that allows students to benefit from a live training environment.

According to the organisation’s Richard Pratt, virtual classroom training offers selected courses that are instructor-led and specifically available to those in need of training.

“The problems associated with the traditional live training classes, right across Australia, means that some areas simply cannot be covered without downtime due to travel and the like.

“This new delivery option means students can attend training from their own home or office, using the internet as the delivery format which will overcome the impact a student’s absence from the workshop, one of the biggest objections to live training classes,” he says.

Virtual classroom courses will be delivered in two-hour sessions, held late afternoon on the same day over two consecutive weeks. The courses are instructor-led and supported by a second instructor who will handle the chat line communication with students without interrupting the class.
