Motorcycle and Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) sales remained steady in the first half of 2025, according to data released on July 8, 2025 by the Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries (FCAI).

It reports a total of 42,549 units were sold between January and June, which remained unchanged from the same period last year.

According to the FCAI data, Yamaha was the top-selling brand, followed by Honda, Kawasaki and KTM.

Sales by segment were as follows:

• Off-road motorcycles (ORB): 16,807 units (up 3.3%)

• Road bikes: 16,254 units (down 1.9%)

• Off-Highway Vehicles (OHV): 6,765 units (down 5.5%)

• Scooters: 2,723 units (up 6.8%)

FCAI chief executive Tony Weber says the overall market is holding firm.

“While we’ve seen some movement within individual segments, there remains strong

competition and a wide range of products available to consumers,” Weber says.

“Growth in the off-road and scooter categories suggests evolving trends in both

recreation and urban transport. As always, the industry remains focused on safety,

innovation and rider engagement across all segments.”
