Mitsubishi Australia continues on its path of growth, with a 42% increase on June 2012, and the best-ever recorded import sales result.
Early internal numbers show June 2013 retail sales of 9250; which is not only an all-time record for June sales but the best ever recorded total for any import month result.
The first six months of sales (Jan-June) has recorded 37,327 units and sees MMAL record the largest import result for the period of any previous year, with a number of key segments driving the growth.
MMAL’s passenger volume in June exceeded 3000 units (total passenger volume = 3256 units) with both Mirage (1503) and Lancer (1753) being strong contributors.
Again, MMAL’s strength in the SUVs segment has resulted in a June result of 2530, an all-time record June. The Jan-June 2013 volume for both SUV (12,362 units) and LCV (13,292 units) was an all-time first half record in both cases.
