On January 10 this year Holden pledged to donate one million dollars towards bushfire relief and made a $200,000 donation to the Red Cross.

Holden has considered where to donate the remaining amount and has chosen the Salvation Army Bushfire Disaster Appeal in New South Wales, the South Australian Bushfire Appeal and the Victorian Bushfire Appeal to receive $250,000 each.

Holden donated the remaining $50,000 to the World Wildlife Foundation Koala Crisis Fund.

“Holden would like to recognise the tireless work of our firefighters, emergency services, volunteers and communities in supporting those impacted by the fires,” Holden chairman and managing director Kristian Aquilina says.

“We encourage all Australians to continue to show their support to those individuals and communities affected by these terrible fires.”
