Chevrolet Silverado heads to Melbourne National 4×4 Outdoors Show
General Motors Special Vehicles (GMSV) is heading to the National 4×4 Outdoors Show in its hometown of Melbourne with a portfolio of its Chevrolet Silverado range of pick-up trucks.
From August 19 to 21 the National 4×4 Outdoors Show will take place at the Melbourne Showgrounds in the suburb of Ascot Vale.
“Our first experience of the show circuit was at the recent event in Brisbane, it was a great opportunity to meet such a passionate and enthusiastic crowd of outdoor enthusiasts,” GMSV general manager marketing, customer experience and communications Jodie Lennon says.
“We’re looking forward to meeting a whole new legion of fans when we participate in the coming Melbourne show and I am excited to introduce people to the Chevrolet Silverado product portfolio.”
GMSV recently announced an all-new model will be joining the range in Australia and New Zealand in the form of Chevrolet’s new flagship off-road truck, the first-ever Silverado 1500 ZR2.
“The ZR2 won’t arrive until next year, but we are encouraging people to sign on for updates at GMSV as it promises to be a highly sought-after new addition to the line-up,” Lennon says.
“It elevates the range to an entirely new level and will prove to be the ultimate vehicle for all-wheel drive and offroad applications,” she says
Exhibitions and Trade Fairs sales manager Ben Morrison says he has high praise for GMSV’s first foray into the National 4X4 Outdoors Show series.
“The GMSV stand was an absolute highlight at the Brisbane Show – the new Silverado is something that really needs to be seen in the flesh to fully appreciate.
“We look forward to seeing a lot more of these vehicles at not only our Melbourne 4X4 show – but on tracks and trails around the country,” he says.
