The Lexus NX 450h+ plug-in hybrid priced from $89,900 is part of the new Lexus NX range which has arrived in Australia.
Lexus is offering customers of the flagship NX 450h+ PHEV complimentary home charger installation of the ABB Single Phase 7kW AC wall charger supplied and installed by Jet Charge, and membership to the Lexus Encore Platinum owner benefits program.
As Encore Platinum members, Lexus NX 450h+ owners will have access to Lexus vehicles when travelling interstate or to New Zealand, access to exclusive events and offers, and a home recharger including complimentary installation.
“Lexus is ensuring that our high-performance, low-emissions NX 450h+ is backed by the incredible Encore Platinum owner benefits program along with a home recharger and two charging cables,” Lexus Australia chief executive John Pappas says.
“It’s all designed to ensure owners of the first Lexus plug-in hybrid enjoy a luxury lifestyle experience to match the electrifying performance and class-leading tailpipe emissions of the flagship NX 450h+.”
The home recharger can reduce charging times to as little as two-and-a-half hours for the NX 450h+, which can provide up to 87km electric range.
NX 450h+ customers can also choose to upgrade to a premium charger with additional scope of functionality, a touch-display, wi-fi and ethernet compatibility, smartphone app connectivity, and dynamic load management – which can avoid blackouts and surprise energy bills, measuring a home’s live energy usage and automatically adjusting the charge to the NX 450h+ in harmony with the local grid.
The NX 450h+ joins the Lexus UX 300e battery electric vehicle (BEV), LX flagship SUV, LC sports car, and LS flagship sedan with a three-year membership to Encore Platinum with owner benefits accessed seamlessly via the Lexus App.
Vehicles can be booked through the Lexus App for collection at the Qantas valet of Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth airports, or at Auckland and Queenstown in New Zealand.
Alternatively, members can book a vehicle for collection at a number of Lexus dealerships nationwide – including Lexus of Cairns.
The NX 450h+ will also be added to the fleet of available Lexus on Demand models, allowing all members to experience it.
Encore Platinum membership also includes complimentary valet parking at participating Westfield shopping centres nationwide or Chadstone shopping centre in Melbourne.
Available for use up to eight times, there is no need to book – simply drive your NX 450h+ in and show the valet your Lexus App with remaining valet parking passes.
All grades will come with capped price servicing to three years or 45,000km, at $495 per service, the NX able to be collected from the owner’s home or work, with a complimentary loan vehicle delivered too.
Three years of coverage is also provided for the above-and-beyond DriveCare roadside assistance, affording customers round-the-clock breakdown assistance, towing, entry assistance, coverage for one-way metropolitan taxi fares up to $150, and more.
