Motorama Kia Moorooka service advisor Christine Dicker placed third at the 6th biennial Kia service advisor World Competition, bring a bronze medal home and continuing Australia’s legacy.
Dicker earned her place in the global finals following her win at the local finals earlier this year, in which she beat five other Kia service advisor finalists to be crowned the Australian champion.
She travelled to Seoul, South Korea in late June to compete in the final competition alongside 44 other finalists from 42 nations. Consisting of a written test and multiple practical tests, the final round aimed to evaluate the contestants’ capabilities in customer-facing scenarios and knowledge of on-site responses.
“I am so proud and thankful for the opportunity to represent my country, my dealership, and myself at this level,” Dicker said upon being awarded the bronze medal.
“This is an achievement I will never forget – I will take home the skills I have refined and share them with our team so that our customers get the best experience we can deliver”.

Held biannually in Seoul, the Kia service advisor World Competition is in its sixth year and returns from a four-year pandemic-imposed hiatus. Christine’s bronze win marks Australia’s fourth podium finish overall, following bronze in 2013 and a dual silver and bronze win in 2019.
“To have achieved four podium finishes in six years is a clear testament to the talent of our service advisors and the comprehensive training programs KAU has implemented through the years,” Kia Australia chief executive Damien Meredith says.
“Christine should be incredibly proud of her achievements both in Korea and at home in Australia,” he says.
