Australia’s ‘biggest EV charging site’ under construction

Geoff Dobson · 0 comments

Australia’s biggest EV fast charging site is under construction – a 20-stall Tesla supercharger place in Goulburn, New South Wales.

So says The Driven.io, adding the site will join an eight-site charging station in the Southern Tablelands regional city.

EV enthusiast Richard shared a photo on X (formerly Twitter) showing Tesla V4 stalls capable of providing 250kW from each plug.

The Tesla chargers are likely to be available to all drivers with compatible EVs.

Tesla has eight V2 stalls at the Visitor Information Centre in Goulburn, and it has more 100 active sites in Australia, at least 50% open to non-Tesla EVs, with the largest opened at Albury, NSW, in December 2023.
