Registration to the 2013 Australian intelligent transport systems summit is now open.
This summit’s objective is to develop a national vision with a core set of transport priorities, broadly acknowledged across all government jurisdictions and supported by both the research community and the private sector.
The 2013 event will build on previous summits and will focus on the national ITS action agenda, an update of the current status of ITS in Australia, and challenges facing the ITS industry in the current climate.
A comprehensive line-up of national and international speakers has been planned.
Keynote speakers include:
– Dr Peter Sweatman – board chair, ITS America and director, University of Michigan Transportation Research Institute (UMTRI)
– Martin Matthews – chief executive, New Zealand Ministry of Transport
– Hajima Amano – president and CEO, ITS Japan
– Professor SK Jason Chang – professor, National Taiwan University and Vice President, ITS Taiwan
– Dr Reinhard Pfliegl – chair ITS Vienna 2012, chair of the 19th ITS World Congress, AustriaTech
