The Toyota RAV4 has achieved its highest monthly sales in the model’s 30-year history, making it Australia’s best-selling vehicle for August. It is the third time the RAV4 has been Australia’s best-selling vehicle this year and the fifth time overall.
Toyota’s RAV4 – generally sold as a hybrid – topped the new vehicle July sales with 5933 units sold. The Ford Ranger (4915) was the second top seller, then the Toyota HiLux (4747), Toyota Corolla (2688) and Toyota Landcruiser (2464).
