Toyota, Land Rover, Nissan SUVs get five-star ANCAP ratings

The Australian New Car Assessment Program (ANCAP) has confirmed its latest batch of five-star rating recipients. A total of four SUVs – the Land Rover Range Rover, Land Rover Range Rover Sport, Nissan X-Trail, and Toyota Corolla Cross – have been given the top rating by ANCAP.

ANCAP safety ratings to expire this year for Australian best sellers

A selection of new vehicles, including some of the best-selling nameplates in Australia, are set to lose their coveted five star ANCAP safety rating this year. The move will apply for any vehicle with a rating that’s six-years-old or older.
