Hertz is partnering with BP to place Pulse EV charging stations at Hertz sites across the US. The vehicle rental company has huge EV fleet orders from Tesla (100,000 vehicles), Polestar (65,000), and recently General Motors (175,000) but does not disclose how many EV chargers will be installed.
Hertz’ local arm has announced that customers around Australia can now book a fully electric Polestar 2, as the brand moves to “advance electric vehicle adoption” around the country. Over the next five years, Hertz is set to add 65,000 Polestar 2s to its global fleet.
Dedicated electric vehicle firm Polestar has commenced deliveries of Polestar 2s to Hertz rental car agents around the world as part of a five-year agreement between the two companies.
Hertz and Polestar’s new global partnership includes purchasing up to 65,000 EVs over five years, starting with the Polestar 2.
