The 35th annual Speed Week will be held March 3-8 at Lake Gairdner in South Australia next year. So says the Dry Lakes Racers Australia (DLRA) which expects entries to be open from October 1 this year to January 31, 2025.
A “once in a lifetime” rain event rather than the dreaded COVID-19 virus has prompted cancellation of the 2022 Speed Week by Dry Lakes Racers Australia (DLRA) which was scheduled for February 28-March 4 about 440km northwest of Adelaide.
