In October 2024, Isuzu Ute Australia (IUA) celebrated three milestones: over a quarter of a million D-Max and more than a hundred thousand MU-X were sold and delivered locally, marking more than 350,000 sales of Isuzu utes and SUVs since 2008.
Isuzu Ute Australia (IUA) has achieved two milestones; with the two-nameplate brand announcing that it sold and delivered its 300,000th vehicle in October 2023, an accomplishment that comes as the marque celebrates it 15-year anniversary in Australia. IUA began its Australian journey in 2008 with the debut of the D-Max ute, with the MU-X SUV following the same path just five years later in 2013. Over the years, IUA says both nameplates have become a staple of everyday Australian motoring; earning a stack of accolades awarded by the media due to their reputation for dependability, fit-for-purpose, and value for money. “It is quite fortuitous that we welcomed our 300,000th vehicle to an Australian home while celebrating our 15-year anniversary at the same time,” Isuzu Ute Australia managing director Junta Matsui says. “Not only would I like to take this opportunity to thank every single customer that has chosen an Isuzu over the last 15 years, but I’d also like to thank not just the 19 dealers that have been with us from the start in 2008, but our whole Dealer Network.
After four years at the helm of Isuzu Ute Australia (IUA) managing director Hiroyasu Sato is passing the mantle to Junta Matsui, who has led various global Isuzu and Mitsubishi Corporation divisions for the last 15 years.
Bannister Law Class Actions says it is currently investigating two issues concerning Isuzu D-Max 4×4 and Isuzu Mu-X 4×4 sold by Isuzu UTE Australia Pty Ltd.
Isuzu Ute Australia (IUA) is celebrating a dual victory in the 2022 OzRoamer 4WD and SUV Car of the Year Awards. The D-Max won the '2022 4WD Dual Cab Ute under $65,000 Award' and the MU-X won the '2022 4WD $45,000 – $65,000 COTY Award'.
