Repco has partnered with Garry Rogers Motorsport (GRM) for the team’s return to Mount Panorama at this year’s Repco Bathurst 1000.

Team Valvoline GRM has unveiled its wildcard-entry Chevrolet Camaro Supercar featuring a retro livery inspired by the team’s Bathurst-winning #34 car from 2000.

Garth Tander and Jason Bargwanna drove the original Holden Commodore to victory in the 2000 Bathurst 1000, securing one of the Great Race’s notable underdog wins.

This year’s #34 Camaro will be driven by Nathan Herne and James Moffat, with its tribute livery also recognising Valvoline’s relationship with GRM dating back to 1990.

Repco executive general manager of marketing Mitchell Wiley says the partnership celebrates team founder Garry Rogers and his contribution to Australian motorsport.

“Repco is proud to be joining Valvoline’s return to the number 34 car, celebrating Garry Rogers and the pivotal role he played in Supercars for more than 30 years,” Wiley says.

“Garry created career-making opportunities for so many young drivers, engineers and technicians in Australian motorsport. Our partnership with Valvoline brings the famous winning livery back to the track, a celebration of his legacy and his team’s Bathurst success 26 years ago.”

GRM competed in Australia’s Supercars championship for more than 30 years, developing a reputation for taking on the category’s larger factory-backed teams.

The 2026 Repco Bathurst 1000 will mark GRM’s first appearance at the Great Race since 2020, with its Gen3 Camaro scheduled for a pre-Bathurst test in September.

The team’s Bathurst-winning Holden Commodore from 2000 will also be displayed at this year’s event, which runs from October 8 to 11.
