Aussie buyers snap up Nissan Z Proto

Robert Barry · 0 comments

The Nissan Z Proto model has already sold-out in Australia after customers were invited to reserve a vehicle prior to its arrival in the market.

However, the brand says hope is not lost for customers who missed out and they are encouraged to join the online queue for the next production allocation of the all-new Nissan Z Coupe.

“We expected demand to be strong for this incredibly special vehicle,” says Nissan Australia managing director, Adam Paterson. “I can confirm that all Australian production of Z Proto spec is now sold-out.”

“All future owners have plenty to look forward to, with the fastest, most powerful and most exciting Z car ever; set to arrive in Australia very soon.”

The all-new Z will usher in a new chapter when it arrives in mid-2022, with its 3.0-litre V6 twin-turbocharged engine delivering significant gains in both power and torque.

Available with a nine-speed automatic complete with paddle shifters, or a six-speed manual with synchronised rev control for faster shifting, the Z is engineered for performance from the outset, including a mechanical limited-slip differential and launch control as standard equipment says the manufacturer.
