Lexus expands Encore program with capped-price servicing

As part of its Encore owner benefits program, Lexus is offering capped-price servicing on all new vehicles delivered from January 1, 2020 which doesn’t require an upfront service plan charge.

The new capped-price servicing plan delivers pricing transparency the flexibility to individually select each service over three years for the same price at any dealership nationwide.

Owners will still receive complimentary pick-up and return of the vehicle from home or work, a loan car, and exterior wash and interior vacuum as part of the Encore program.

For each of the first three annual/15,000km standard logbook services the Lexus CT, UX, IS, NX, ES, GS and RC are priced at $495, while the RX, RC F, GS F, LC and LS cost $595.

For the Lexus LX, each of the first six bi-annual/10,000km standard logbook services – required due to the additional componentry and heavy-duty usage of the flagship luxury four-wheel drive – costs $495.

In 2020 the program will include a greater number of dining, hotel partnership and luxury lifestyle experience offers’ exclusive to owners of new Lexus vehicles across the three-year Lexus Encore membership.

A new Lexus certified pre-owned program will also include a one-year Lexus Encore membership with applicable pre-owned Lexus vehicles purchased at a Lexus dealership (excluding capped-price servicing for vehicles outside original three-year membership period).

Vehicles in the Lexus certified pre-owned program must be no older than eight years/120,000km, each vehicle must include a complete service history at a Lexus dealership, and is subject to a 120-point vehicle check including full history check.

Lexus chief executive Scott Thompson says the Encore program will be expanded throughout 2020, ensuring that Lexus delivers a new standard as the leader in luxury experience for a greater number of owners.

“Lexus owners have given us both their unwavering loyalty and outstanding feedback about Lexus ownership, and our aim this year is to give back with more amazing experiences than ever before,” says Thompson.

“Lexus understands there is no greater privilege for its owners than time, so whether it be the ease of servicing, or the enjoyment of track days, dining nights and getaways, Lexus Encore will speed up or slow down time for our owners.”

A new Lexus app will debut in Apri, 2020, permitting Encore members to access events and offers in real time and book via the smartphone app at their leisure.

As part of the Encore program, members are invited to indulge in some of Australia’s most exclusive hotels thanks to an evolving list of hotel partners around the country.

Most recently, this includes Emirates One&Only Wolgan Valley, the luxury resort located in the Greater Blue Mountains region. Lexus Encore members can access special offers, a welcome regional wine upon arrival, a Signature Wildlife and Sundowners tour for two, and late check-out.

An enhanced array of events including top-tier dinners, golf days, drive days and tailored experiences are designed to ensure owners have the time to savour the best of the Lexus luxury lifestyle, and to connect with other owners.

For the first time this will further include luxury wellness experiences.

The debut experience, in February, includes a two-night stay at Jackalope hotel on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula, incorporating yoga, meditation and spa sessions – plus access to one of the hotel’s Lexus vehicles to tour the local area.
