BMW is showcasing new models across a variety of vehicle segments at the International Motor Show 2018 in Geneva on March 8-18.
The latest technological innovations are also included.
The BMW Group is focusing on electric mobility, digitalisation and autonomous driving, and expanding offerings in the luxury segment and the family of BMW X models.
The new generation BMW X4 has its world premiere there, and the new BMW X2 compact sports activity coupe makes its European debut.
Special-edition BMW M3 CS, new BMW 2 Series Active Tourer and BMW 2 Series Gran Tourer, and a duo of plug-in hybrid sports car models in the shape of the BMW i8 Roadster and the BMW i8 Coupe will be on show.
BMW is also presenting the latest innovations for further reducing fuel consumption and CO2 emissions under its BMW EfficientDynamics Next umbrella.
The BMW Group is expanding its range of electrified cars as part of its Number One > Next strategy, which will see the company producing 25 fully or partially electric models worldwide by 2025.
It’s also supplying high-voltage batteries.
BMW i plays an active role in expanding the public charging infrastructure and in the development of innovative new charging technologies, such as BMW Wireless Charging, due for the BMW 530e iPerformance this year.
